Cuki vagy szürreális? Döbbenetes állati portrék

Andreas Häggkvist svéd művész képei láttán nehéz eldönteni, hogy ezek az állati fotómanipulációk cukik-e vagy inkább bizarrak...

”Environmental magic” . Hey, did you know? June 5 is World Environment Day! It’s the United Nations day for encouraging worldwide awareness and action to protect our environment. Since it began in 1974, the event has grown to become a global platform for public outreach that is widely celebrated in over 140 countries. . Started right here in Stockholm over 40 years ago, every WED has a different host country, where the official celebrations take place. This year's host is China. Go China! . Each World Environment Day is organized around a theme that draws attention to a particularly pressing environmental concern. The theme this year is “Air pollution”. . We can't stop breathing, but we can do something about the quality of air that we breathe. 92% of people worldwide do not breathe clean air and approximately 7 million people worldwide die prematurely each year from air pollutions. . The slogan this year is ”Do your share for better air”. No it’s not. I just came up with that. But it sounds catchy! . Above all, World Environment Day is the "people's day”. A day where everybody connects and try to do something to take care of the Earth. That "something" can be local, national or global. It can be a solo action or involve a crowd. Everyone is free to choose. Just do something! . Protecting the planet is everyone's responsibility. We are putting the planet under enormous pressure. We are draining the Earth’s natural resources, polluting it’s air and water, destabilizing the climate, and driving many of its species to extinction. Like the leopard, for example. Poor thing. . So let’s treat the earth with heart, so the world doesn't fall apart! Hey, another slogan! #slogansslayer #BeatAirPollution . . . #worldenvironmentday #wed #wildlifeplanet #discoverglobe #earthfocus #earthpix #naturegram #wildlife #instawildlife #discoverwildlife #ourplanetdaily #beautifuldestinations #mothernature #wildlifephotography #love #earthcapture #outdoor #nature #wildlifeaddicts #naturelove #keepitwild #fantastic_earth #nature_lovers #natureaddict #wildlifeperfection #wildlifeonearth #animalelite

”I sea love” . I hope everyone is looking forward to the summer! When it comes to these wonderful warmer months, the topic of water almost always comes up - whether we are planning beach days, pool parties, or being reminded to drink more because of the heat. In this post I wanted to take my spin on summer fun and playing in the water. I want to discuss a topic I am passionate about… the health of our oceans. . Being raised in Sweden I´ve been fortunate enough for beach days to be a common occurrence. And now when each year seems to be a little bit warmer, cooling off with a swim are for many a must to beat the summer heat. But in order to be able to enjoy the water this season, we need to do our part and make sure that our oceans, rivers, and lakes stay clean. Lets show some love! . I am by no means an expert on the topic of our oceans, and I´ve already talked more than enough about skipping single-use plastics. So this time, and this summer, let’s keep it simple. Whether we enjoy diving, surfing, or relaxing on the beach, just… clean up after ourselfs. And let’s explore and appreciate the ocean without interfering with wildlife or removing rocks and beautiful coral. . So for all of us that love splashing around and want to keep doing that in clean waters, let’s all do our part. Let’s show the oceans, and the 80% of earth animals that lives in them, some big love this summer! . I’ll sea ya all out there;)

”Peace Please” . Ready for an icy adventure, gang? Here at Andys animals we’re heading north – far north! – to meet one of nature’s toughest animals. The Polar bear. These are seriously big bears my friends, adult polar bears can measure over 2.5m long and weigh around 680kg. Their huge size and weight make them the largest living meat eaters on Earth! But despite their size, polar bears are actually excellent swimmers, and have been spotted in waters over 100km offshore. . Although good swimmers, polar bears aren’t quick enough to reliably catch seals in open water. Instead, they depend on the ice as a hunting platform. They wait near seal breathing holes or at the ice’s edge for a seal to surface. They then snatch if from the sea and…gulp! . Sadly, these incredible creatures are rapidly vanishing and the biggest threat to polar bears is melting ice. Yes, good ol’ climate change. These bears actually only have one single enemy on the whole planet, and that is us humans. Rising global temperatures means that sea ice is melting earlier and forming later each year, leaving polar bears in a really… uncool situation (see what I did there?). . Climate change is heating up the Arctic faster than anywhere else, and sea ice is shrinking 15 percent per decade. That means the polar bear’s going to be really rare but the year 2050. And right now the only solution for the the polar bear to have some peace and quiet is for us to cease fire, and address our way of living once and for all. We CAN still save these amazing animals! . Peace out.

"Bee my valentine" . Valentines day. Yay, I love it! But let’s be real here. Many guys mostly dislike Valentine’s Day, am I right? You probably think it’s a silly, made up holiday like ”Cinnamon bun day" and ”Dress up your friends in a clown outfit and make them go to the movies day". (My personal favorite holiday) Well, it’s really not. . Blame it on marketing, or the chocolate industry, we all want to feel loved, cared for and needed. That’s it. So that’s why I will use this day to throw some beautiful roses around someone that really deserves a whole bunch of love—the chimpanzee. . These amazing animals are our closest cousins; we share about 98 percent of our genes. As a result, we have so many similar features. Expressive faces, big toes and hands that can grasp. Just like us they laugh when playing and hug to show affection. I´m pretty sure they would really know how to celebrate valentines day as a boss! . And something really related to this particular day; chimpanzees are experts at grooming;) They spend a lot of their time running their fingers through each other’s hair to remove dirt and stuff. Grooming is an super important activity for these cool critters! A lot of dudes I’ve met have a lot to learn here;) . Sadly, chimpanzee habitat has been severely depleted. Chimpanzees used to live in 25 countries throughout tropical Africa... today they are extinct in five of those countries and endangered in five others. Chimpanzees have declined by 80 percent over the past 25 years because of habitat loss, hunting and capture for use in zoos, circuses and medical research. . So celebrate valentines day. All of you! And if you got some extra love to spare, you know which amazing creature you could spend that on:) Have a wonderful cupids day everybody! . . . #valentinesday #wildlife #chimpanzee #savetheanimals #instawildlife #creativegrammer #animallovers #helpanimals #animalrights #ps_wild #creative_ace #gramslayers #visualmobs #milliondollarvisuals #illgrammers #worldofartist #artofinstagram #artinspiration #art_daily #art_select #thevisualones #houseoftones #digital_indo #enter_imagination #launchdsigns #theuniversalart #heatercentral #discoveredits

”Summer snow” . What the heck is going on? What is up with this weird world weather we are having? Australia is seeing record-breaking temperatures while the US is frozen solid. Is the weather broken? . The record breaking heat in Australia leads to wildfire rage and temperatures of near 50 degrees have been recorded for the first time ever. Meanwhile the US is facing colder temperatures than Antarctic as a polar vortex produces temperatures of minus 40 degrees. Brrrrrrrrr. . So what’s up? Why can’t spring just gradually warm until it turns into summer? Why is there such a violent tug-of-war between seasons? Why is it so hot and so cold? Is this a climate change thing? Well, in this particular case the scientists still debating. It could still be a ”weather” thing and not ”climate”. . But no matter what the case is here, the consequences are affecting everything around us. Not just us humans, animals are indeed having a harsh time also. Those poor creatures! . The brown bear has received very little attention in this respect, mostly because of his PR-friendly cousin, climate change-poster boy Mr Polar Bear. But the brown bear will have their habitat reduced by 11 percent by 2050 due to the variations in temperature. As you can imagine, having longer winters, and shorter summers really messes up his routine man. It’s reducing their ability to find food and not giving them the chance to gain weight for winter snooze. Ana this, my friends, impacts their reproduction rates. . So this extreme weather we’re having… well, welcome to the new normal. Unleast until we’re ready to make a change... . #ps_animal #ps_opposites #enter_imagination #thecreativers #ps_wild #digitalmanipulations #creativegrammer #learn_photoshop #creativeoptic #gramslayers #visualambassadors #photomanipulation #launchdsigns #manipulationclan #creativemobs #bestvisualz #edit_grams #xceptionaledits #serialshooters #strangertonez #createmanipulation #lightmobs #thecreateart #visual_creatorz #conceptart #theuniversalart #simplycooldesign #watchthisinstagood #visualmobs #thedesigntip

”Rise and shine” . Good morning, It’s time for a wake up call! This is a totally new segment on the Andy Okay feed. Let’s name it; ”I cannot believe it’s legal…” . First up: Pet tigers! . Many people are entranced with the idea of having such a beautiful and powerful animal as a tiger as a pet. And you know what. In a lot of countries, they totally can! It is a shocking fact that there are actually more “pet” tigers held privately as pets than there are in the wild. . Some people get so smitten by these might creatures that they decide to purchase a tiger of their own. If that doesn’t impress their friends what will, right? Well, what they get is a recklessly wild animal for years and even decades – that is, if they can even afford care for it. . In fact, tigers are surprisingly cheap to purchase as a pet. People can purchase a tiger for anywhere from $900. But the costs of keeping and caring for a wild tiger are extremely high. Just the fact that a tiger eats over over 15 pounds of meat every single day should scare even the most wealthy hipster away. . But that’s not even the biggest issue, the hardest part of keeping a tiger is the issue of space. The end result is that often tigers live in way too small spaces, and tigers living in tiny pens will literally lose their minds, becoming hyperaggressive and attacking anything that comes near. Yay. . Many animal rights organizations work tirelessly to make it illegal to own tigers, lets hope that they succeed. Because the last thing this endangered species need, is to spend his life in a up and coming neighborhood watching reruns of Friends. This one belongs in the wild. . . . #tiger #wild #animalwelfare #animalrescue #natgeowild #wildlifeaddicts #ps_animal #ps_opposites #wildlifeonearth #animalelite #animales #animallover #animallovers #wilderness #ps_wild #wwf #peta #helpanimals #animalrights #animallovers #wildlifeplanet #wildlife #artofinstagram #artinspiration #illgrammers #ourmoodydays #discoverglobe #artoftones #launchdsigns #milliondollarvisuals #creativegrammer
