Szegény Millie kutyus sokáig egy lepusztult orosz menhelyen várta, hogy valaki fogyatékossága ellenére is szeresse őt.

Az állat vélhetően egy puskatalálat következtében elvesztette orrát, így fura külleme - és persze szaglási problémái miatt - nem igazán volt a házi kedvencre vadászó családok kedvence. 

Végül egy Kasey Carlin nevű melegszívű hölgy fogadta őt örökbe, akit azonnal magával ragadott Millie kedvessége, vidámsága és nyitottsága: szinte azonnal örömmel ugrotta z ölébe, már az első találkozáskor.

“Hi my name is Millie and I give free kisses!” -Millie #bemoremillie • • • Millie is amazing! You guys know me and you know that I welcome any and all dogs into my life but more often then not the dogs the come to my home are broken and in need of rehabilitation. Often I spend hours, days and weeks “fixing” dogs who are scared and have behavioural problems. I can honestly say that I have yet to find anything wrong with Millie. She’s respectful of my girls, loves to play, yet to have an accident in the house, no separation anxiety at all, loves all people and dogs. I can’t believe my luck and honestly I can’t believe it. After everything she’s been through and having lived in a shelter environment for so long I imagined and prepared to deal with any number of issues or combinations of issues. @vyberimenya did an amazing job of looking after Millie before I found her. They obviously loved her unconditionally for me to have wound up with such a well behaved and well mannered pup. Her one and only naughty behaviour is jumping up but already she is learning. _ Also Bella LOVES Millie but is still in bed rest so isn’t allowed to rough house and play. Maggie is warming up to her in the house but thinks puppy antics shouldn’t be allowed in the house. She did try to box with Millie when walking in the park the other day though. Hope I can get a video of them playing together soon. Mishka is happy to go on walks with Millie but heaven forbid if Millie dares go near Mishka’s favourite toy piggy! I’m just taking things nice and slow for now. Making sure each dog gets the attention they need and all interactions are supervised. “Hello my name is @milliethewunderdog ” - Millie • • • Millie is a 1 year old rescue who currently lives in Russia. Originally named Linda, she was rescued by @vyberimenya who gave her the care she needed. Millie was brutally attacked as a puppy. Shot in the face but thankfully she was found and nursed back to health by foster mom @shelter_animals_grandovskay • millie is a normal dog in every way except her looks. She can smell and breath through an artificial nose created by her vets. Her nose has been shortened after her jaw bones were shattered by the gun shots. She is so happy and full of life! She can eat normally as well as drink although that long tongue gets in the way and this is something that the vet will need to address when she arrives. Millie can run, jump, play, chew and give kisses like any other dog can her only differences are her appearance. Infact she has a longer snout than many breeds such as pugs, and bulldogs. • I can’t wait for Millie to join the family but first things first, we need to raise funds. Millie will be travelling with Mitya! A sweet medium sized boy who has also suffered immensely at such a young age. His nose was cut off as well as his ears and tail. He needs our help as much as Millie does. Unfortunately the chances of either of these two finding homes in Russia is slim to none. Without our help they would likely spend their entire lives in the shelter.
