Sokan hiszik, hogy a Megxit az asszonyka ötlete volt, többen a király család Yoko Onójaként utalnak rá, arra célozva, hogy egyesek szerint a Beatles is Lennon neje miatt oszlott fel anno.

A "Finding Freedom" vagyis A szabadság nyomában című könyv Harry és Meghan életéről és útkereséséről augusztus 11-én jelenik meg az Egyesült Királyságban, de már most óriási port kavart.

"Az igazság az, hogy Harry döntött a királyi családból való távozásról. A könyv ezt az elsők között tisztázza, és azt is részletesen kifejti, hogy mi vezetett idáig. Harry, a királyi család örök lázadója volt az, aki ebbe az irányba akart menni, és már több mint egy éve fontolgatták ezt a lépést" - nyilatkozta a királyi családhoz közel álló forrás.

A bennfentes azt is elmondta, hogy Meghant iszonyúan bántja a Megxit kifejezés, hiszen ő csak férje mellé állt, amikor az először beszélt arról, hogy szeretne távolságot tartani az arisztokráciától.

This afternoon, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the annual Commonwealth Service at Westminster Abbey on Commonwealth Day, alongside Her Majesty The Queen and Members of The Royal Family.
